Minutes

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by President, Jodie. Sixteen members were in attendance.

Minutes: Then minutes of the Sept. 2011 meeting were approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Coleen gave the Treasurer’s Report.

Librarian Report:
Nan brought library books for check out.

Old Business:
Bead Bazaar
Jodie thanked all who had helped with the bazaar. April reported that she is working on getting a date for next year’s bazaar.

2011 schedule:
November 17, 2011: Gayle- Kumihimo
• Supplies: Will make bracelet. Bring 8 strands, one yard each, of yarn, cord, or other fiber. (beads not needed)
December 15, 2011: Christmas Party
• Bring beads you don’t want anymore for silent auction and bring a treat to share.

New Business:
Announcements: April announced that there was a quilt show going on at Pershing.
Kathi announced that the Down Syndrome Association for Families is having a jewelry sale on Nov. 12, 2011 from 8am to noon. Anyone with donations should contact Kathi for further information.

Adjournment:
There being no further business, the business meeting was adjourned. Marsha presented a program on Right angle weave. Pat won the Jodie bead.
