It's meeting time again!  This Thursday, Eastmont Towers, 2nd floor.  7:00 p.m.  I am leading the group in a triangle and squares project.  I don't have any squares pics, but will have a couple to show you at the meeting :)  

But here are some of the triangles I have made:

This one would be a more advanced project...but if you want to do a patterned triangle like the one above, you can print out patterns from this site:

Bring any size beads you would like.  I have used Delicas, size 11's or 8's.  Any colors you want to bring, but I do suggest at least 2 colors to start with.  See you Thursday!

Call to Order: President, Jodie Marshall, called the meeting to order.

Minutes: The minutes of the June 2012 meeting were reviewed and approved.

Treasurer's Report: Coleen gave the Treasurer's Report. Jeanette Cook’s flight and room have already been paid.

 Annual dues of $18 were due in June

Librarian's Report: Nan brought books and magazines available for check out.

            The dates for the Jeanette Cook workshop:

            Sunday July 22, 2012 Aurora Borealis (in morning) 10am-1pm

                                                   Mastering the Curl (in the afternoon) 2-5pm

            10am-5pm each day

            Monday Optional Workshop: Each member participating will pay $25 for class directly to Jeanette  Hours: 1-5pm

            Project: Pop toggle

            Location: 6900 L Street

Members were reminded to complete "homework", an odd count tubular peyote bead tube, for the Aurora Borealis Cuff prior to the class.

Bead Bazaar: will be held Saturday October 13 in Lincoln.

New Business:

2013 meeting projects: Jodie asked members to think about possible meeting projects for 2013.  It was suggested that members bring UnFinished Objects for the January 2013 meeting.

Hillestad Gallery: Katie Best Exhibit is on display through Sept.

County Fair: July 30^th was the last date to enter bead exhibits.
